Commitment to Service
Ensuring satisfaction, and then some, is the driver

Jeff Palson has been focused on delivering top notch customer service for more than 30 years.  His first job doing so was behind the bar at Earls Main Street in Winnipeg, where he poured the first pint of beer ever sold in that building on opening day.  That’s where the passion for taking care of patrons, and exceeding their expectations, began.  “Our mantra was to go beyond.  Don’t do the bare minimum, do something that will be memorable for the guest, and make them want to come back.”  Since day one at Earls, that’s been the focus for a decades-long career in taking care of people.  “In one of my interviews with The Sexton Group, I was asked how you sell a service.  My response was that you sell a service, by delivering service.  Your positive reputation will precede you.”  From Earls, Jeff went on to spend 10 years in a Management capacity in the golf industry.  This has been a great conduit to The Sexton Group.  “Delivering for members, whether at a private golf club or with a building materials buying group, is paramount.  Nothing is more satisfying for me, than when I know that my Member has been properly looked after.”

From the golf industry, Jeff plied his customer service trade for 16 years in Sales and Management roles with Sleeman Breweries and Corby Spirit and Wine.  Jeff made the jump from Corby to Sexton in November of 2024.  “It’s been a big learning curve since joining the team at Sexton.  I’m looking very forward to combining the education I’ve received in the building materials business, with my passion for, and commitment to, Member service in the years ahead.”
