Lealta Building Supplies to build key LBM business advantage
through ACE Canada / Sexton Group Strategic Alliance
ACE Canada and the Sexton Group Ltd are pleased to announce that Lealta Building Supplies in Lethbridge, Alberta, has recognized the additional benefits and services extended to LBM retailers through our Strategic Alliance, and is set to rebrand their business into ACE Lealta Building Supplies.
The Sexton Group and ACE Canada Strategic Alliance was formalized and publicly announced in November 2020, with full collaborative terms taking effect January 1, 2021. At the core of the alliance is a joint supply agreement providing the opportunity for all ACE dealers and/or Sexton Group members to benefit from expanded and improved product selection, distribution and other services that only two innovative and exceptional leaders in their own areas of expertise could bring to the table in a combined offering.
“It is exciting to see our Strategic Alliance vision and program take formal shape with ACE Lealta Building Supplies. This rebrand for Lealta shows a strong belief in ACE Canada and is a testament to the solid relationship maintained between Lealta and Sexton Group since 1993. We welcome Lealta to the ACE Canada brand and believe the ground work is now in place for a new decades-long relationship to form.” - Damian Zapisocky, Senior VP, Corporate and Strategic Development, Peavey Industries LP - ACE Canada
“Lealta Building Supplies has been a long standing and valued member of the Sexton Group for over 28 years. We are delighted they have made the decision to join the Strategic Alliance and will benefit from the many advantages the ACE Canada Program offers. We look forward to continuing to work with Dave and his team under their newly branded store.” – Eric Palmer, Vice President and General Manager, Sexton Group Ltd.
Located today at 240 Stafford Drive, North Lethbridge, Lealta Building Supplies has been operating in Lethbridge since opening in 1959 at 3rd Avenue North. A member of the Sexton Group since August of 1993, the team is looking forward to serving their customers and community with the additional support of ACE Canada. Co-owners Dave and Tammy Jackson, along with General Manager Laurie Scheurkogel and Inside Sales Manager Larry Boychuk are all excited to unveil the ACE brand in the coming months.
“We became Sexton members because of the ability to be part of a buying group that had similar ideals in business: great service, competitive pricing and teamwork. I feel that ACE Canada, and parent Peavey Industries LP, emphasize the same values and standards that we do, providing a common outlook and approach to expanding on opportunities and creating business success as partners.” - Dave Jackson, ACE Lealta Building Supplies
Formal agreements have been signed and are in place. Completion of the conversion to the ACE Canada brand, including required exterior and interior visual alignment, is expected this summer. Throughout all stages, no disruption to normal operations or services are expected for Lealta’s valued customers or partners.
