May – Do you comply with CSA Standard A440.4-07?
At the end of 2016, the revised CSA Standard A440.4-07 became the national Standard of Canada for the installation of windows, doors, and skylights in low-rise and residential buildings. According to this new standard, rigid and flexible flashings are required to be made of materials such as reinforced bitumen and/or rigid metal containing aluminum, copper, galvanized metal or other non-ferrous metal. This standard applies to renovations and new residential constructions.
