What is an ICF?
Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) is a system of formwork for concrete that stays in place as permanent building insulation for energy-efficient, cast-in-place, reinforced concrete walls, floors, and roofs. The forms are interlocking modular units that are dry-stacked (without mortar or adhesives) and filled with concrete. The forms lock together somewhat like Lego blocks and serve to create a form for the structural walls of a building.
Fox Blocks’ uniquely clever design of its green and sustainable ICF building system helps speed construction with:
•Easy-to-use reversible, pre-assembled blocks.
•Exceptionally strong ties
•Special corner brackets for additional strength and easy application of veneer finishes
