The strong construction market in the U.S. has fundamentally changed Canada’s ability to access U.S. building supply products.
It’s a seller’s market and Canada is exposed to risk, in that the large U.S. manufacturers will typically service their more profitable domestic market first over export markets. This means that supply can be unpredictable. Our members want dependable supply certainty to meet their customers’ needs. We not only ensure adequate supply for our members, but also address the relentless price pressure they face from the upturn of the North American market. Our team works closely with our supplier partners to keep Sexton members competitive in the Canadian market.
