It all started back in 1990, when Bernard Toews and Ron Toews, owners of Border View Homes (a Ready To Move home builder), started selling building materials to people in the Cartwright area because the local lumberyard closed down. The business kept growing as hardware, tools, paint, flooring, plumbing, and electrical were added to the selection. In 2000 we almost tripled our heated store by adding 1700 square feet to make a total of 2600 square feet.  Then in 2011, we removed 2 older buildings, added a new showroom and more retail space to the north, and new offices and receiving to the east. That brings the total of our heated store to 6400 square feet. We are a one-stop-shop for residential building materials, tools, hardware, plumbing, electrical, paint, flooring, and lawn and garden. If we don't stock an item you have requested, we endeavour to locate and promptly order it in for you. We also have an in-house draftsman, Bernard Toews, and a building consultant, Ron Toews, to help you design and build that house of your dreams.
